About MittSverige Vatten & Avfall
At MittSverige Vatten and Waste, we work for a sustainable society.
Our constant presence with nature and people gives us a great responsibility and an important role in a functioning cycle. In our three owner municipalities Sundsvall, Timrå, and Nordanstig, over 126,000 residents live. It is for them, but perhaps even more together with them, that we work to drive, develop, and contribute knowledge in water and waste issues. Always with sustainability and the environment in focus. Our core values of courage, openness, and holistic perspective should always permeate our operations.
We are looking for a documentation engineer for a new, developable role with operational responsibility for facility information and follow-up of information requirements. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a reliable and socially important water and wastewater operation.
Your new workplace
The Department of Digitalization and Information Security is building a new team for facility information. As a documentation engineer, you will coordinate and develop the management of technical facility information and become a key person in the work with quality, structure, and information management throughout the lifecycle of the facilities. You will contribute to building a service function with future-proofed information structure in our systems and drive standardization of working methods.
Your contribution as a documentation engineer
You will continuously work with our facility information in digital systems and physical archives, both in management and projects. Your focus will be to organize, structure, and ensure the quality of information by:
- Continuously coordinating and reviewing facility information produced or changed in connection with maintenance, renovations, and other initiatives in MSVA's facility assets.
- Receiving and performing delivery control and formal review of facility information deliveries against established requirements.
- Registering approved facility information in our management systems and archives.
- Managing, communicating, and developing requirements for facility information and technical documentation of significance for our facility management.
- Being a contact point between projects and management and ensuring compliance with requirements for facility information in a number of designated investment projects.
You will participate in developing and improving working methods, routines, templates, and case management for facility information. In collaboration with operations, maintenance, and project organizations, you will contribute to business development and future-proofed processes. The role may also include digitization and quality assurance of analog information and is under development, with the possibility of being shaped based on the needs of the business and your competence.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for someone with current experience working with technical information in some form within water and wastewater, construction, facilities, production, or another technical industry.
We expect you to have a post-secondary education focused on technical information, communication, or technology, as well as solid experience in information coordination, documentation, and quality assurance. Alternatively, you have an educational background and/or work experience that MSVA assesses as equivalent.
We want you to have
- Experience with requirement-based digital management of technical information.
- Competence in digital drawing and modeling techniques (CAD, BIM, VDC).
- Experience working in a supportive function, e.g., documentation, quality, training, environmental coordination, occupational safety, registration, case management.
We also appreciate if you have experience in
- Digital lifecycle management of information supported by e.g., PLM and VDC and tools for bulk uploading in information management systems.
- Operational data quality work/tools for quality control of information.
- Structured working methods for planning, construction, operation, maintenance, and development of facilities in roles that MSVA deems relevant.
- Working with reference designation systems and standardized facility registers or other standards within information management and asset management.
- Developing routines, processes, and information flows.
- Participating in projects or improvement initiatives within digitization, asset management, and/or business development.
You work transparently and traceably to support the organization's goals, plan together with the team, and participate in daily management and check-ins. You communicate clearly both orally and in writing, convey requirements and regulations in an understandable way, and can switch between working in management and projects.
You are collaborative and service-oriented with an operational perspective, driven by achieving clear goals and quality-enhancing results together with the team. You are curious, eager to learn, and confident in making decisions, asking questions, and expressing your opinions respectfully.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability!
